- The most recent 12 months of import-export activity, aggregated quarterly, for U.S. exporters, U.S. importers and their overseas suppliers – drawn from PIERS trade databases, based on the information PIERS gathers from the bills of lading and manifests filed with U.S. Customs authorities.
- Profiles of companies that are the active traders (party to at least four shipments annually), each identified by their D&B D-U-N-S® Number*, D&B’s unique nine-digit sequence recognized as the universal standard for identifying businesses worldwide.
- Multiple search options: Begin with Company Look-up to find a business by name and location ... or use Advanced Search to create lists of importers/exporters by:
- estimated value of trade activity, or
- geographic location, or
- trading-partner countries, or
- products bought or sold, (among other criteria) ...
- then filter results by trade volume, years in business, number of employees ... or other profile characteristics.
- Multiple sorting options: Rank order results by total number of shipments, TEUs, or tonnage. Select the top 25, top 50, or top 100 companies by the criteria you select. Then click on individual companies to view their trade and business profiles including their:
- top trading partners,
- top market countries,
- top commodities bought and/or sold,
- top ports of entry, and ...
- commercial background information from the D&B database
- Complete, current contact information – including CFO and finance executive management names, phone and FAX numbers, and company URLs, plus company demographics, including years in business, SIC, number of employees and sales volume – indispensable to effective sales and marketing initiatives.
- Summary level reports offer quick snapshots of top traders’ activity by U.S. State, trading partner countries, commodity type or company name.
- Trade Finance Profiles and summary reports can be viewed/captured on screen, printed, or downloaded into your Microsoft Excel* spreadsheets.
